This park was designed by Daniel Hudson Burnham, an American architect, who also laid the plans for this site on Baguio City.
Either is raining or not, Burnham Park receives visitors from all over the world. The fresh weather is accurate anytime of the year to spend a day either walking or biking around the park. The are lots of bicycles for rent for excellent prices, you can take a ride yourself, with your partner or with the whole family.

You can wander around and find all kinds of activities such as a playground area for kids. You can travel through the Burnham Lagoon, a made-man lake, in a big swan rowboat, relax, take pictures and enjoy the view. Or you can do skating inside the rink that adults and kids for sure enjoy.
Walk around the Igorot Garden and play chess with the locals. Watch the statue of the 5 main Igorot tribes of the country (Ibalois, Bontocs, Kalingas, Ifugaos, and Kankanaeys). And please go to the Japanese Peace Tower located inside the Pine Trees of the World Park. It is a joint project of the Lion’s Club and Japan.
Don't forget to check out online if it is a special event to assist at the Melvin Jones Grandstand or maybe if it is more like a romantic day you would like to spend more time on the picnic grove where you can plan a special picnic. Then go and walk around the Pine Trees of the World where you`ll see trees marked with their Latin names and enjoy the vegetation and flowers that only grow in this part of the city.
Come to Baguio, come to Burnham Park and fall in love with us!
