Once Philipines was a Colony. In those times the Governor Luke E. Wright ordered his architect Daniel Burnham to build a place with recreational facility for American soldiers and civilians. That new park was called Wright Park.
Wright Park is located in the eastern part of the city right across The Mansion were officially thePresident of the Philippines has his summer house. The Mansion is open to the public so you can go end take a look too.
You won't believe the beauty around the place, it is something you need to experience. This location is very famous for its the Pool of the Pines and its big camp where you can ride one of the 200 horses available.
There are so many things to wonder about this amazing park. If you love photography this is a must stop in your visit to Philipines. There are tons of beautiful kinds of trees and nature. Amazing views and the most relaxing environment. Tall pine trees and decorative street lights line both sides of the access road beside the lake.
There are times that you will find at the park some Igorots in their native attire and regalia, who will give you a pic and you can also buy them some native handicrafts.
Perfect place to go alone, with your couple or with the family. You can ride a horse, take a boat ride, and explore the mountains and hills of Benguet on any given day.
